Local Groups operate autonomously but share their reflections
and notices of forthcoming events via a Newsletter produced and mailed by
the national Steering Committee. While membership of a Local Group is
independent of membership of the national organisation, people are
encourage to subscribe to both. The annual subscription
payable to the national organisation is good value, while
local groups levy
a small subscription to defray costs. There is no hierarchical
relationship between the national body and no levy on local groups by the
national body.
